Katie Testa, also known as Delilah de Cleyre, is the Founder and Executive Director of Education at Metro Detroit Nonviolent Communication, where she supports those with an interest in learning, practicing, and integrating Nonviolent Communication through one on one coaching, introductory and intermediate trainings, privately facilitated practice groups, tele workshops, and more.
When not in Detroit, she actively works with The New York Center for Nonviolent Communication as a trainer and facilitator in the Manhattan area. She is also the cofounder of The Michigan Peace and Liberty Coalition and The Midwest Peace and Liberty Fest (happening August 7th – 10th at Circle Pines in Delton, Michigan!), and is a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula. Most importantly, she is a dedicated attachment/peaceful parent of 3 unschooling children under the age of 10.
