Not a super fan of Bill Gates, but this quote is quite relevant and true.
Here’s the thing, my wife asked me to please wash the bathroom walls because they hadn’t been washed in like… a while. They were looking a bit yellow and that meant I would have to spend a whole weekend, or more, doing that tedious scrubbing labor. She gave me a hobson’s choice.
I stand here, before you, being that lazy guy Bill Gates talks about. I did a 3 minute visualization trying to come up with an idea that would save me not just time, but all that energy (elbow grease) going into scrubbing 3 tile walls and I came up with this:

I went to Kroger’s and purchased a common round scrubber brush with a handle. I think it was like $3.50
I cut the handle off with a saw. Try to use one with little teeth that can cut fine wood or PVC pipe. I used this one.
So, after cutting the brush I pulled the bristles in the center off, drilled a hole and put a screw through the hole like this:
Then, I just fastened the screw onto the power drill, took it to the bathroom and started scrubbing.
I used a tile soap of sorts, but I’m sure almost any kind of detergent would do. I used the high speed and it took me just less than 3 hours. I went up down and then sideways. I rinsed and did a quick scrub again.
